This was far and away the largest project I had ever taken on. It was not easy and sometimes I had to force myself to go downstairs and work on the mud portion but it is well worth it. The painting is finished. I am now going over the floor to make sure there are no ‘dents’ or holes left in the concrete from the anchors that previously held an old wall in place. Once these holes are filled in then I will be ready for the carpet, which gets installed tomorrow! Here are some pics of the final paint job. Read more…
When I found out that I was going to move and buy a place in KC, naturally I started telling all of my friends. Well when I talked to one friend in particular, he said he was planning on moving to KC and was looking for a place to live. I said OK and went on. He moved in sometime in early June and stuck around until I had another friend move to KC. Guess what? He needed a place to live while he got his house sold in Omaha and found a new place to live here. Read more…
